EAGLEBANQUE networks with wealthy individuals, banks, brokerage houses, law firms and such like and is able to offer qualifying clients, access to capital. Capital can be used for most legal business activities, and we also active in Corporate Finance and/or Venture Capital often called start-up money to name some. It can be invested in high risk companies or small companies, often specialising in new technologies, but if industry sectors appeal to a firm's Corporate Finance Director, it can be almost anything.

For example consumer related sectors have been very dominant in recent times, with industrial related products and services also accounting for major shares. In addition Advertising, Distribution, consulting services and Engineering sectors all had good shares, and for obvious reason, technology companies are also extremely bouyant.

It is generally offered in return for equity, and can be called Risk Capital, as backers fund at risk, however except in the case of very established companies, or until project claims are verified, corporate financiers, and venture capitalists, will expect prime movers to share in the cost exposures of the Due Diligence, and Independent Reporting stage.

Eaglebanque in the 80's and 90's specialised globally in corporate finance, and was behind private 3-5 year exits as well as promoting Initial Public Offerings 'IPO's.

Generally there are three (3) stages of financing

*   Seed Capital for new organisations

*   2nd Tier financing, or Mezzanine Funding

*  3rd round Finance often an Initial Public Offering
'IPO'

Venture Capitalists
recoup investment in a variety of ways, one being through stock warrants, and later enjoying capital gains from stock sold off at a public offering

In terms of market share, the world venture capital markets are dominated by the United States, with Britain the largest in Europe. With the equivalent US$ 25 Billion  in circulation at the start of the new millennium, the U.K. is the second largest in the world followed by France. In 1980, the British market invested very little outside the U.K, but by the end of the 1990's more than a quarter of the available portfolio was invested overseas. Buyouts dominate available capital, and expansion capital commanded a large proportion.
